A team of fourteen (including me and my 20-year old son Kevin) traveled to Uganda this past summer and were inspired by the simpleness, the generosity, and the spirituality of these Bakiga people. It was a "God" incident that enabled me to take this wonderful trip--an accidental meeting with a wonderful woman, Anita Mpambara-Cox. She invited me to go along, and without looking back and 6 shots later, I was there!

I learned that it is SO simple to make a difference in the lives of this people. Our dollar can go a LONG, LONG way to help them....and specifically, to feed them. It only costs $30 to feed a child for a year....the amount we pay to Starbucks in one week.

Why not brew your own coffee (or tea) for one week (or one month), and take that expense and transfer it to feed a hungry child? I am your witness...IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
