The PLF works to ensure that children in the villages around Siem Reap, Cambodia, have the opportunity to attend primary school.

Many impoverished children in rural Cambodia do not have access to adequate funds to procure uniforms, shoes and their school supplies in order to attend primary school. The Ponheary Ly Foundation provides these “school bundles” to children who would otherwise not be going to school. Once all the children from a village are present at their school and properly equipped, the PLF supports the school sufficiently to provide a quality of education that is equal to that which is accessible in the urban communities.

    After meeting Lori and Ponheary and visiting the children at Khnar School between Siemp Reap and Bateay Srei, we were moved by the good work being done here! The children of Cambodia are not forgotten!

    I was fortunate to visit a school during my stay in Siem Reap and think that your charity should be a blueprint for how a charity should run. The children and their needs come first, and thats how it should be.

    Greetings to Dara, the best tour guide in Siem Reap and the best spokesman for the schoolchildren of Siem Reap. I can't wait to visit again. Until then, I'll just share the word in my nonprofit courses about this great organization.

    Ponheary is absolutely inspiring. Thru her dedication, more than 500 children are now being helped. Education is the way forward. ANd Ponheary helps gives these kids an opportunity many may never have had. I enjoyed working at a volunteer at Knar and Tchey. We will be returning again to help.
