Please help our beloved foster dog, Raegan! As you can see from Raegan’s foster family’s photos, Raegan is a very special girl that deserves a happy and healthy life! She is just about everything we ask for in an adoptable pit bull, she loves everyone she meets, she’s wonderful with children of all ages, she is great with every dog she meets, she has the perfect combination of a playful energy with a huge desire to just settle down and cuddle on the couch. She is a quick learner and excels at obedience too!

Reagan has just one major setback keeping her from the happy life that she deserves… she has two bum knees that require expensive surgery. If we can raise enough money to get Raegan’s knee surgery, she will be able to go up for adoption and finally get a loving and forever home she has been looking for!

Raegan has two blown cruciate ligaments (one on each knee), medical buttress (thickening of the medical aspect of the stifle due to fibrosis) and joint effusion, which is indicative of a bilateral cranial cruciate ligament rupture. The left knee also had a meniscal click, which means she probably has a meniscal tear as well.

(Mizzou) The University of Missouri Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital’s very own Dr. Cook has offered his infamous Tightrope procedure to Raegan at a generously discounted rate. GO MIZZOU!! We hope to have Reagan in for her procedure by next month to finally alleviate her of her pain!
