NuGo Runs 2012 Pittsburgh Marathon for CAP

For the fourth year, NuGo Nutrition is running the Pittsburgh Marathon to raise money for the Children’s Alopecia Project (CAP). The daughter of a NuGo team member, Alexi, was diagnosed with Alopecia at age 5 and lost her hair at age 6. Alexi lost her hair, but she has not lost her determination, her energy, and her love of life.

Alopecia is an incurable autoimmune disease that causes hair loss. Through Alexi and her family we learned about CAP. Their mission is to help any child in need who is living with this life altering disease. The goal of CAP is to build self-esteem in children so they become stronger teens, more productive adults, and the advocates of tomorrow.

Please help us raise awareness about this cause that is very close to our hearts. We invite you to join our running team, make a donation, and cheer for us at the race on May 6, 2012. We greatly appreciate your support. Help us make this year's race bigger and better than the last one!
