In 1998, as teenagers, my brother and I opened Achdus to a few community children in need of a summer camp. At that time there was no other camp to service the religious community of Northeast Philadelphia. To date, we have 90 children coming from Philadelphia, Elkins Park, Lower Merion, and Cherry Hill.
