I've watched Pencils of Promise grow by leaps and bounds over the past few years, gaining momentum like a veritable juggernaut. It is truly amazing what a determined group of young people can do to change the world for the better. PoP is an organization run by individuals who are, of course, incredibly intelligent and ambitious, but what astounds me is their infinite passion and devotion to their cause - providing education for underpriviledged children.

Traveling around the world this summer - with another diehard PoP fan, Libbie Fritz - only re-inforced my understanding of how wide the education gap is between the hemispheres of our world. I know that supporting Pencils of Promise can help us begin to bridge that gap.

This holiday season I've set a goal to raise $1,000.00 by 2010. I can only do it with your help! Every donation, no matter how large or small, is vastly appreciated and it WILL make a difference.
