Park Square brings thought-provoking theatre to the stage for nearly 40,000 general audience members and 25,000 students each year!
Your contribution makes it possible for Park Square to bring the state’s second largest teen theatre audience to the edge of their seat and into the heart of the live performance.
Hours before you walk through our doors, teens are pouring into the building for their own “evening of theatre during the day.” From the deeply moving friendship between George and Lennie in Of Mice and Men to Anne's powerful search for goodness in the midst of her persecution in The Diary of Anne Frank, sutdents leave inspired by a new understanding of the human spirit. They are immersed in the entire process of theatre with hands-on workshops, demonstrations and discussion. Their day at Park Square inspires empathy, builds public speaking skills and ignites a deep connection to live theatre, all while helping teachers meet core curriculum needs.
By giving to Park Square Theatre you not only support great theatre and theatre education programs, you help support Minnesota artists who challenge and inspire our community."
Double your gift on Give to the Max Day, Nov. 14, 2013! Your contribution will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000 by the Park Square Theatre Board of Directors. When you help us meet the match, we’ll have $50,000 to provide low-cost or free programs to as many as 5,000 low-income students!
We are truly theatre because of you (yes you). Your gift, great or small, is essential to our education program. You can also increase the power of your support by becoming a sustaining member through a recurring monthly contribution that offers reliable support for the programming you love.
