The Park City Sailing Association was founded in order to introduce and facilitate continued involvement in the sport of sailing.
Sailing is a sport that is not only a lifetime sport, enjoyed from one's earliest memories but also is part of so many people's entire lifetime. Recently the regatta hosted by the PCSA was won by a man from California who is 81 years old and is an inspiration to all. The PCSA seeks to continue to facilitate sailing in a local environment on the Jordanelle Reservoir helping kids ages 7 to 18 to learn to sail, teaching adults on a larger keelboat that's owned by the PCSA, run races for all ages on Tuesday Nights in the Olympic class Laser sailboat and as we continue to grow hopefully introduce sailing to other groups like the National Ability Center, the University of Utah and Westminster College. Sailing is a sport you can take with you, it's global and the skills learned can translate well to other sports and life in general.
