Marine Corps Marathon 2013 - This year for the Hepatitis B Initiative of Washington, DC.
I'm running the Marine Corps Marathon again. As you all know, I don't care for running, so you know that I must care about the cause I am supporting.
This year I'm running the marahon to support the Hepatitis B Initiative of Washington, D.C., which partners with community-based organizations to reach residents of D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
Hepatitis B can have a devastating effect, causing severe liver damage, cancer, and even death if left untreated. Thankfully, it's preventable and treatable - but first, people need to know their hep B status.
$20 will cover the cost of a hepatitis B blood test for 1 individual,
