I will be running the Detroit half marathon in memory of my beautiful cousin and my daughter's Godmother, Jacqueline Bayley.

Jackie was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in 2009, shortly before her 32nd birthday. Throughout aggressive chemotherapy and multiple surgeries, Jackie fought this disease with grace, humor and determination. She never lost her faith, love of life or ability to laugh. Jackie died on August 27th, 2011. We will miss her every day.

My hope is to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and support research for earlier detection. I appreciate your help in my fundraising efforts.
