Outgrowing Hunger empowers communities to create their own food security, growing fresh healthy produce within neighborhoods of need.

In our Neighborhood Gardens program, community members, even without gardening skills or resources, can eat from the garden on their first day. Their work in the garden pays it forward to another neighbor in need.

In our society, we will never achieve food security for all with handouts alone. By building the skills, relationships, and personal resources of the most vulnerable families in each of our communities, we are Outgrowing Hunger together!
