OU'04- Operation Understanding's 25th Anniversary Year Alumni Fund

So, about 6 summers ago, we were all sitting on a hot, stuffy bus, travelling around the southern US, going to places like Memphis, Tennesee and Philadelphia, Mississippi. The long list of things we experienced ranged from going to the National Great Blacks in Wax Museum to jamming with the Gullah Geechee people. While the trip itself was amazing and eye-opening, the best part was getting to know each other and having the opportunity to talk about our lives and voice our opinions.

It has been a long time since we were directly invovled with OU. Since 2004, we have all gone to college and graduated. Some of us are still in the Philly area, but others are spread across the globe- I know Tod's in some place called Tonga! I know that asking recent college graduates who might be struggling financially ( I know I am!) to contribute to the Alumni Fund is asking a lot, but I believe that our contribution is important. The funds that we raise will give a new class of students the opportunity to have an amazing OU experience, just like we did 6 years ago.

The goal for our class is to raise a total of $750, only about $50 per person. Ask parents, friends, co-workers, etc. for help! Please do your best to help our class meet its goal!
