OU '00 - Operation Understanding's 25th Anniversary Year Alumni Fund

OU spends $10,000+ on every student. All classes together are hoping to be able to cover the cost of at least two students for 2010!

Do you remember our welcome back BBQ where we did that ridiculous dance "Jump On It"? All of our inane inside jokes and nicknames (echemm "The Carbonator")?

It's been almost ten years since we first boarded the bus with Eric and Vicky and I know that we've all thought of our experience and the opportunities OU gave us many times. Now it's our chance to give back so that more students can dance on stage at Amateur Night at the Apollo, visit the Holocaust Museum and see where MLK jr worshipped.

It's OU's 25th anniversary and what better way to celebrate than to support the organization that developed our skills of "disagreeing without being disagreeable", talking about taboo subjects, learning about race in our own country and, let's be honest, helped us all get into college!

Our class goal (abroad and domestic combined!) is to raise $1500. Lets blow it out of the water!
