As a veteran of the US Army, I know the challenges of military life and want to help others that have made incredible sacrifices for our great nation. That is why I am training, fundraising, and competing in the PPD Beach 2 Battleship Full Triathlon on October 26, 2013. This will be my second full Ironman triathlon, which consists of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride, followed by a 26.2 mile-run. This is a total of 140.6 miles I will travel in less than 17 hours and I am doing it as a member of Team Racing for Veterans (Team R4V) to raise awareness and funds for our brave heroes.

I am proud and excited to join Team R4V, a non-profit organization on a journey of giving back to America's disabled veterans! Team R4V promotes awareness, supports rehabilitation, and empowers America’s Heroes to follow through on a path of healing with a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Team R4V is a community of individuals who are committed to the rehabilitation of United States veterans, standing beside them when other services are no longer offered. They believe in the power of sport to rehabilitate the mind, body and soul, and are committed to empowering individuals to follow through on a path of healing with a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Why You Should Support Me

Team R4V will use funds collected to provide direct support for America's heroes. Because we can give back to wounded warriors by simply running in a race, because we have chosen to help hundreds of veterans through a contribution to Team R4V, we are now getting closer to the hour when a wounded warrior can say "I can run again!"
