Empowering creativity within Jewish spiritual practice and preserving the diversity of its traditions through custom crafted siddurim

Can you imagine what your own printed siddur would like if you could design and craft it yourself? How would your spiritual practice be improved by creating your own spiritual reference book? Imagine a siddur where you could import traditional texts, newly innovated texts, and material that inspires you and not be restricted by any particular tradition. This can be your Jewish spiritual practice, or your childs, or your community's tradition -- to grow your own siddur, sharing texts and art, together, as you like.

Please help the Open Siddur Project bring this vision into reality. Your contribution could go directly to any one of the following projects:

  • keeping the Open Siddur Project website and reference library online and accessible (webhost and domain fees)
  • digitizing Public Domain and free culture licensed texts and art -- the legacy of our creative and spiritually inspired culture
  • developing a free and open source web application for users to edit, maintain, and share their work online

For more information or to contribute in other ways, please visit the Open Siddur Project on the web at opensiddur.org
