Every donation to Open World Learning Community funds LEARNING BY DOING: creative, hands-on experiences in the classroom & beyond . THANKS!
SUPPORT OUR HANDS-ON LEARNING:
Funds raised through Give to the Max day will support hands-on, off-campus learning, like Spring Interim, during which OWL students participate in a week of intensive, experiential courses that give students the opportunity for in-depth focus on a compelling topic or experience of their choice that takes them out into our Twin Cities community and beyond.
ABOUT OPEN WORLD LEARNING COMMUNITY:
Open World Learning Community (formerly Open School) has nurtured self-directed learners for more than 40 years. Since 1971, students in our small-by-design school have been celebrated and respected for their individuality and take an active role in their education. With just 220 students, every student is a known and valued part of our family-like community. Open World Learning Community is a member of the national network of Expeditionary Learning Schools, which promote rigorous and engaging curriculum; active, inquiry-based pedagogy; and a school culture that demands and teaches compassion and good citizenship.
