Run to Prevent Child Abuse!

Did you know...

Every year an estimated 900,000 children in the United States are victims of maltreatment and 18,000 are permanently disabled. About 30% of the abused and neglected children will later abuse their own children, continuing the horrible cycle of abuse. In Orange County from 2009 to 2010, there was an estimated 38,000 reports of suspected child abuse, neglect, or abandonment.

Our Reason to Run

We are making a difference in the life of every at-risk child by teaming up to participate in the OC Marathon.

Our team is committed to raising money to keep our parent education, prevention, and mental health programs running at full capacity, lower our current waiting lists, and help ensure that the caseworkers and staff support are available for our clients.
