The North Peninsula Jewish Teen Foundation will support educational and vocational programs for at risk youth in impoverished communities.

I am privileged enough to be a board member of the North Peninsula Jewish Teen Foundation, an organization that teaches Jewish teens about philanthropy through real world experience. We work together to raise money for charitable causes, and this year, we are adressing the issue of educating at-risk youth in impoverished communities and Israel. The lack of education is a massive problem that lies at the root of many of today's pertinent issues. Education is needed by youth all over the world, including the U.S., but it is most lacking indeveloping areas such as Africa and the former Soviet Union. My goal with the NPJTF is to raise money to help the at risk youth of those developing areas receive the essential education they need so that they can improve their lives as well as the lives of their communities. ALL donations will be granted to 501(c)3 non-profit organizations that have been thoroughly researched by the NPJTF board. We understand that donating might be hard in these tough economic times, but please remember that every penny counts, and I appreciate any and all donations.
