Y Partners 2010 is focusing on five critical needs:

*Safe and affordable child care
*Healthy lifestyles for youth
*Health disparities
*Water safety

Y Partners funds allow the Northwest Family YMCA to meet critical needs in our community!

*118 future leaders participated in Model Assembly and gained leadership skills as well as working knowledge of government.
*Last year the Northwest Family YMCA provided $86,253 in scholarships to families to help them stay active in YMCA programs.
*$118,553 was provided in financial assistance to families so their children could attend our before and after-school child care programs.
*1200 children got regular exercise and learned about teamwork in YMCA youth sports activities and arts and humanities programs.
*Over 3000 children learned to swim through our year-round Swim Academy aquatics programs.
