North Star Region

Young Life is caring adults walking with 1 million kids around the world. The North Star region serves kids in Minnesota, North and South Dakota. We journey with kids on their turf, understanding their story, in a persistent relational pursuit called friendship.

Last year we had over 2500 join us for club! Young Life club is a fun gathering with a purpose, games, skits, safe community and a message for kids to grow and hear of God's love.

This past year we serve over 3500 kids at our camp in Detroit Lakes Minnesota called castaway. Kids call it the best week of their lives!

We have embarked on an initiative that promises growth! We plan to grow from 500 volunteers to over 1000 volunteer leaders, as we hope to journey with over 10,000 kids in the years to come! We feel the most important thing we do is develop leaders from High School kids on up, developing strong young leaders is the key.

We also serve every kind of kid, inner city kids, suburban kids, out-state kids and one of our fastest growing missions to kids on the reservation.

We are supported significantly by individuals, corporations, foundations and many denominations.
