My name is Nisi Mendez and I'm 15 years old. I attend the Academy Of Urban Planning, and a sophomore. I'm in a program named Global Potential. In Global Potential I have the opportunity to travel out of the US to either Nicaragua, The Dominican Republic or Haiti.There I will do Community Service and help the people in need by Building many different things.I will also be learning about their culture and I will Live with a family there for 6 weeks during the summer. For Global Potential we all have a goal to raise $300 each, including me. I really want to be in this program because I feel like I would learn a lot about myself and could possibly found out who I am. I want to be able to help others and to learn to appreciate everything that I have. This program will not only help me grow as a person, but it will help me learn from my abilities. I'm asking anyone whose reading this to please help by donating what you can for my Trip. I will really appreciate it.
