As a soccer player participating in the 2012 SCORES Cup tournament, I clearly love soccer! Soccer promotes teamwork, leadership, fitness, communication and much more. I also strongly believe in making sure every child has the opportunity to learn how to play soccer, which is exercise for both their minds and their bodies.

So, I am excited to inform you that I am playing on a State Street Soccer team that will be raising funds for an organization called America SCORES Boston. America SCORES Boston uses soccer, along with creative writing, and service-learning in their innovative after-school program to support Boston inner-city youth. We will be placing State Street soccer teams to play in a 32 team fundraising tournament at Gillette Stadium prior to a New England Revolution game on July 30th. We are in need of donations to make this event work.
