The New York Rugby Club, Inc. was formed to continue a tradition of high caliber national and international amateur rugby competition that dates back to the year 1929. The NYRC promotes the growth of amateur rugby in New York and the United States.
The New York Rugby Club, Inc. was formed to continue a tradition of high caliber national and international amateur rugby competition that dates back to the year 1929. The NYRC promotes the growth of amateur rugby in New York and the United States.
The NYRC hosts the Annual New York Thanksgiving Sevens Tournament. It is the largest 7s tournament on the east coast. Proceeds go to fund club activities, foster the growth of amateur rugby players (including youth, High School, college, and international players), and improving the community its members live in.
