Jeremiah Brinkman fundraising for HEBRON BAPTIST CHURCH
This fund is to help support the spiritual outreach and awareness of the people of northern New York.
As I was sitting over lunch with a friend talking about the possibility of a new
local ministry, the waitress leans in and asks me, "What denomination are
you?" I turned to her a little shocked that she would ask and yet honored
to give her a response. I stated that I was a Christ follower and I was not so
much concerned about a denomination or religion but more about my personal
relationship with Christ. She told me that she had not been to church in about
seven years because there was no where to go. I was shocked. I proceeded to
share the gospel with her and build a relationship that will hopefully lead to
her to a future community of local believers. She is willing to go to church
and learn more. She is waiting for an invitation, and wanting to know more. She
is searching for hope in a hopeless world. She needs a relationship with Jesus
and a place of community that can be a refuge for her and her family. Where
will she go? Who will tell her?
Less that 2% of the communities of Northern New York have evangelical churches. It
is our hope to change this one community at a time.
We need your help in raising funds to impact the people of upstate
New York the hope and love found in Jesus Christ. Please prayerfully consider
your contribution to this effort.
