I am running this race to benefit Good Shepherd Children and Family Services in honor of the birth mother who chose life for the baby she was carrying and gave me the opportunity to have a son. I have been blessed beyond words in my vocation as a mother with two amazing children and strive to be an example to them of God's unconditional love. I am thankful for the opportunity to raise money for an organization which provides comprehensive services to children and families with compassion and love, following the lead of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
