Your donation helps to make sure victims are treated with dignity, fairness, and respect so they can become survivors.
The National Crime Victim Law Institute (NCVLI) was founded to help restore balance to a criminal justice system that was treating victims more like pieces of evidence than human beings.
Victims' legal rights are not new, but the justice system continues to fail to afford them. This means that people who are already struggling with surviving can find themselves experiencing new injustices at the hands of the system. Together with NAVRA (our national membership alliance of attorneys and advocates), NCVLI is working to create world where crime victims are safe and their legal rights are respected in court. To achieve this, NCVLI trains nationally; provides technical assistance to attorneys in the form of legal research, writing and strategic advice so they may effectively fight for victims' rights; pairs victims with these trained and supported lawyers; and works with partners across the nation to make laws stronger for victims.
Your support can make a real difference in the life of a crime victim. Join us and help make victims' rights a reality -- please donate today.
