100% of the proceeds from My Sister's Keeper will provide financial assistance to to young women from New Jersey attending Spelman College.

Founded in 1881, Spelman College holds the distinction of being the oldest historically black college for women in the United States. As a global leader in the education of women of African descent, Spelman is dedicated to academic excellence and the intellectual, creative, ethical, and leadership development of its students.

As alumnae, we feel it is our responsibility to ensure deserving young women get to experience Spelman. Since 1976, we have awarded over $220,000 to approximately 87 students. Your donation will allow us to continue helping these young women – because after all, we are our sisters’ keepers.

My Sister’s Keeper Scholarship Campaign is being held in conjunction with Cabaret Blue, NJ Spelman’s 23rd Annual Scholarship Benefit Concert. Cabaret Blue will take place on March 16, 2013 at the Montclair Art Museum. Donations over $50 received by March 1st will be recognized in the Cabaret Blue Souvenir Program Journal. All donations received by March 15th will be listed at Cabaret Blue.
