We asked Ms. Mutafian’ s class the following question: How does reading make you feel? Here are their responses.

Reading makes me feel excited. When I read My Teacher’s an Alien, I was very excited because it has a lot of mystery to it.

Reading makes me feel smart because it gives more information about topics such as animals.

Reading makes me feel great. I especially love Science Fiction, Non-Fiction and Fantasy books because they have a lot of action and great details.

Reading makes me feel like I don’t want to stop. When I read Science Fiction, Mythology, and stories about the super natural, they have a lot of action and that makes me want to keep reading until I get to the end.

Reading makes me want to laugh out loud. Big Nate and Tintin are great examples of making me laugh out loud.

Fantasy books make me feel awesome because I feel like I am in the book. It seems so real.

Reading makes me feel relaxed. When I’m reading a good book, I feel much less stressed from the day and it makes me forget about anything bad that happened.

Reading makes me feel scared because once I read the book Goose Bumps. The skeletons came out from the dead.

Reading books makes me feel like I belong in the world. When I read Frindle, it was funny and it was a good book.

Reading makes me feel relaxed because whenever I’m mad or sad about something, I get a book and it makes me feel better.
