A project of RAYMOND R ANDERTON CHARITABLE TR
Michael and Jennifer Camp are taking the month of May head on to help support the Raymond R. Anderton Scholarship Fund!
Following many months of preparation, Mike and Jen are ready to take on big challenges in the month of May! Mike will be leading his team, "Face First", in the Vermont Tough Mudder (www.toughmudder.com) on May 6th; and Mike and Jen will be running in the Run to Remember Half Marathon (www.bostonsruntoremember.org) together in Boston on May 27th. Beyond the personal challenge, we are looking to use these events to help fundraise on behalf of the Raymond R. Anderton Scholarship Fund.
As many of you know, the Raymond R. Anderton Scholarship Fund was established in 2004 using donations received following Ray's (Jen's brother) passing. Since that time, the Fund has made seven $1,000 awards to deserving Gloucester High School graduates to assist with college tuition. All recipients have embodied those characteristics that made Ray so special to those that knew and loved him.
While many of you have been supportive of our transformative journey over the last year, we continue to ask for your support by sponsoring us in these formidable challenges in the month of May. By doing the 'unexpected', we honor Ray's spirit and are looking to ensure the Raymond R. Anderton Scholarship Fund can continue provide financial support for those pursuing higher education coming out of GHS. We would be grateful for any contrubution you could provide to help meet our fundraising goals and we will take care of the running!
