Can Do Canines provides Mobility Assist Dogs to its clients free of charge.
Mobility Assist Dogs work with people who have mobility challenges as well as people with other, special needs. Mobility Assist Dogs enhance the independence of the people they serve. They pick up and carry objects, pull wheelchairs, open doors, flip light switches, retrieve cordless emergency phones, and help to pay at tall counters. A mobility assist dog is a valued helper and companion.
