I am a runner. My primary motivation for joining the America SCORES team is the dedication of America SCORES to promoting literacy, soccer, and service learning programming to Boston public elementary and middle school students.

I am running for America SCORES because I know how crucial access to physical activity has become for children and youth. Exercise, particularly team sports, is critical to the well-being, sense of self, development of confidence, and the advancement of scholastic achievement in young people. America SCORES gives Boston kids the opportunity to learn the focus, skills, and sense of community that team sports like soccer foster in young people.

I have a passion for the continued development of nonprofit organizations, and I am a devoted runner poised to make the leap into marathon distances. I thank you for your consideration and I hope you will contribute to my run for America SCORES!

    Didn't have a chance to finish what I wanted to say. So here goes a second try. I don't know if you remember me, but your dad and I taught at LHS. He went on LEFT for many years and I to this day and forever looked up to him as a mentor teacher. How forturnate all his students were to have such a outstanding teacher. He was and is a wonderful role model for me.
