Shelby's Challenge for MMAA

Every person deserves access to great art. Art increases creativity and is an intrinsic part of being human. Minnesota Museum of American Art showcases
art of the past and present, unleashes the creative potential of our community,and inspires the artist in us all. Every town needs an organization like this!

For every dollar we raise for the MMAA, a generous Board of Trustees member will match the donation up to a total of $2,500, multiplying our positive impact on the community.

The larger our donation pool gets, the more chances we have to receive prize grants from MNGive, the hosts of Give to the Max Day. The organizationthat brings in the largest amount of donations in this 24-hour window receives
a $15,000.00 prize.

If we reach our 5,000.00 goal, matched by our board and then are the biggest earners in the state we have the potential to raise $22,500.00

When: November 16th, 2011

Time: Midnight on the 16th to Midnight on the 17th (24 hours only)

  searching for a permanent home and exhibition space in St. Paul
