MN Give To The Max Day 2011

Give to the Max Day Challenge: Last year, more than 42,000 donors logged on to GiveMN.org and gave over $10 million to Minnesota charities in 24 hours during Give to the Max Day.

Last year the Minnesota Museum of American Art raised $2,200 on Give to The Max Day, this year our goal is $5,000. We hope you will take part in this special day for all of Minnesota.

Every donation made to the Minnesota Museum of American Art on November 16th, 2011 is amplified and maximized in a number of ways:

• Win a Golden Ticket! $1,000 will be given to a random donor’s charity every hour. You could be that donor!
• Put us on the Leader Board! $15,000, $10,000 and $5,000 prize grants will be awarded to the top three nonprofit organizations which receive the most dollars in 24 hours during Give to the Max Day.
• A generous MMAA Board of Trustee member will match all online Give to the Max Day donations up to $2,500.

Every person deserves access to great art. Minnesota Museum of American Art showcases
art of the past and present, unleashes the creative potential of our community,and inspires the artist in us all.

Your matched and amplified donation dollars given in this 24 hour challenge impact St. Paul, the surrounding community and region by helping the MMAA....

• Bring our American art collection to the public through exhibits in area galleries, sparking creativity around Minnesota
• Strengthen Art Education in St. Paul public schools through our new CuratorKids Program.
• Build the financial foundations to secure a permanent home and exhibition space in St. Paul

If we reach our $5,000.00 goal, including the match by our trustee, and are the biggest earners in the state we have the potential to raise $22,500.00

Up for the Challenge? You have two options to support the MMAA in bringing art to our region.

Option One: Give a one-time donation right here! Make sure your gift is within the 24-hour window on November 16th to maximize your donation through the matching trustee gift and MN Give grants!

Then send the link to this page to all your friends, family members and co-workers so they can donate and maximize their impact and increase the chance for the MMAA to receive $15,000. Who knows, maybe someone you know will win a lucky ticket, which means GiveMN.org will send the MMAA $1,000 in honor of the lucky donor.

Option Two: Start your own mini-campaign and personally raise $100.00 dollars for the MMAA by creating your own fundraising page on the GiveMN Website.

Once your page is created, share the link with your friends, families and co-workers and see if you can raise at least $100.00 towards our $5,000.00 goal.

Make sure your contributors know that this is a limited 24 hour challenge and to maximize impact, donations should be made on November 16th.
