Mixed Concrete is a fundraising art show which raises money, awareness, and support for families with inadequate housing in Chapel Hill, NC.

Begun in the Fall of 2011, Mixed Concrete is a unique event that aims to strengthen the Chapel Hill community with the help of UNC students and artists. What originally began as a one-time fundraiser for a Global Village Trip to Honduras has grown and we are now putting together Mixed Concrete 2013, the second-annual fundraiser! The second installation will feature donated artwork from UNC students and show proceeds will go to supporting Habitat for Humanity of Orange County.

The weeklong exhibit at TRU Deli & Wine Bar will end in a two-day silent auction fundraiser. There is a night-opening on Friday, January 25th from 7 to 11pm, and a day event on Saturday, January 26th from 11am to 3pm where students, families, community members, artists, and supporters of Habitat for Humanity are invited to the show to view the work and place bids.
