For my Mitzvah project, my goal is to raise $1000 or More for a promising young woman named Blandine to attend Akilah

A lot of people think that a Bat Mitzvah is a single day religious event. Actually, the responsibilities of becoming a Bat Mitzvah begin well before the service and last the rest of my life. Sure there is the religious and spiritual part of coming to age in the Jewish religion, but along with that comes a humanistic and societal role too. My Mitzvah project is very important to me, and I have been helping pack food for children in need around the world, I am donating new board games to kids who need a smile, and I am raising $1,000 for Blandine, a 22 year old women in Rwanda to attend the Akilah Institute.
