The Minnesota Zoo's mission is to connect people, animals, and the natural world.

The Minnesota Zoo is a great place to watch playful snow monkeys, get nose-to-nose with a giant grizzly bear, and discover the Bali mynah, one of the most critically-endangered bird species in the world.

It’s a place where kids can sit in a huge eagle’s nest; where teens can take classes about conservation and learn about related careers. Most important, it’s a place where all people can come together to create special memories, have fun, learn and explore.

Your support will help us give more people the opportunity to connect with animals. When people have direct experiences with animals and learn about the real threats facing them, they are more likely to care about their protection. And that's good for all of us.

Regardless of how much you can give, every gift to the Minnesota Zoo is important – every dollar makes a difference.

Thank you for your support!

Donors making gifts of $250 or more will be enrolled in the Friends of the Minnesota Zoo giving society. Friends are offered unique opportunities to experience the Zoo in new ways and learn more about our animals, exhibits, and conservation and education programs. Friends also receive a membership so they can visit the Zoo year round with their families, and they may bring two guests each visit.

If you make a gift at $250 or more this Give to the Max Day, you may choose to attend one of our January special events: Tropical Open House (January 15, 2014) or Close Encounters of the Animal Kind (January 27, 2014).
