Project Angel Heart - Food.For Life - Capital Campaign

Project Angel Heart is my cause of choice. Not only because I work there, but because I’ve had family members who have died from life-threatening illnesses without access to phenomenal and nutritious meals. I believe every person deserves to receive a delicious meal, prepared with love and delivered by someone who cares. I want Project Angel Heart to be able to serve anyone and everyone that needs meals. Currently, the waiting list has reached 130+. I want to finish this capital campaign and make the MOVE so Project Angel Heart can eventually eliminate the waiting list.

Over two decades, Project Angel Heart has served more than 4 million meals to the community and now we need the community to help ensure our services continue to meet the need of the people. I admit, $7.1 million is a hefty goal, but $6.9 million has already been secured.

I ask that you help me, help Project Angel Heart wrap up this campaign, so the real work of preparing, packaging and delivering life-saving meals will continue as long as needed. Now is the critical and pivotal time in the campaign. Please don’t wait, make your gift count today. We currently have a $650,000 in challenge grants from the Gates Family Foundation and the Boettcher Foundation that must be met by December 31, 2011. Information on making a gift:

The giving levels provided here are for purchasing tiles. The tiles will surround a beautiful, glass mosaic. Each tile donor's initials will be on the tile, and then names of tile donors will be on the wall alongside the mosaic.

I have purchased a tile in memory of my grandfather who we lost 29 years ago to cancer and a tile in honor of my mom and grandmother. I will be honored to have their tiles and my name on Project Angel Heart's wall in perpetuity! Tiles may be decorated at Bella Glass (39th & Wynkoop) on Jan 28th or Feb 18th or they can be decorated for you. If you purchase a tile, I will send you more information.
