MicroClinic

MicroClinic is an organization that is founded through and supported by BasicMed Foundation. In fulfillment of BasicMed's goals, MicroClinic is building a network of clinics which provide needed healthcare in both Ghana and Uganda.

This organization represents a sustainable effort to support and develop healthcare in the developing world. This is because MicroClinic uses a franchise model in the expansion of its clinics throughout the countries. Nurses or other health professionals are encouraged to become both the owner and operator of their own MicroClinic facility. These clinics have the support provided by the MicroClinic network and also the reliability associated with the MicroClinic brand. Because of this network each clinic operating within would have access to safe drugs, lab tests, and communication with collegues.
