The students of Mrs. Michlewicz's Fourth Grade Class have committed to nightly reading in order to raise funds for classroom technology.
Ms. Michlewicz’s class has many favorite authors, but here are the ones we really want you to know about:
Judy Blume’s books have funny jokes. She is very creative in her writing and her characters are very funny. Some of our favorite Judy Blume books are: Superfudge, Tales of a Fourth grade Nothing, Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great, and Fudgemania.
When E.L. Konigsburg writes her books, they are interesting and they are always different. She uses lots of details and you feel like you are really there. Our favorite books are From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.
We like Rick Riordan’s books because they are exciting and you feel like you are with the people in the book. He writes fantasy stories based on mythological legends. His books are written in a series and we just can’t wait to read the next book. Some of our favorite series are The Kane Chronicles, Heroes of Olympus, and the Percy Jackson series. We also like his book, The Red Pyramid.
Lincoln Pierce is another favorite author. He takes comics and makes them into a book. Lots of unusual things happen to his main character, Nate and they keep us laughing. Some of our favorites are: On a Roll, Big Nate Strikes Again, Big Nate from the Top, and Big Nate in a Class by Himself.
We hope we interested you in reading these authors’ books.
