Donations will provide Handicap Accessibility including an elevator, new entrance near parking, new library & safer environment for archives

The museum helps individuals with their personal family research. Some times we help them find relatives they didn't know they had, we assist them with organizing their information to tell their life story for future generations. We have resources not only for Freeborn County, but also access to records and information all over the world. With the building addition we are planning we will have larger meeting rooms, a gift shop, a permanent exhibit for the items saved from the old Albert Lea High School, a new library and archive area. This will bring better accessibility to our resources.
