We empower rural Cambodian communities to build and sustain their schools in ways that serve their children and support community needs.

Kari and George Grossman, the founders of Sustainable Schools International, are pursuing their vision of a healed Cambodia, where rural villagers are empowered and enabled to sustain schools that serve their children and community needs, while upholding their culture and preserving the natural environment.

Having traveled to Cambodia and Vietnam, almost exactly a year ago, on a family aid expedition we all have an appreciation for the efforts organizations like SSI contribute to helping one child at a time which grows to one community at a time.
