A team of Metro Community Church members will be participating in a medical mission trip to Thailand from March 13-23, 2013. The team includes Maria Ham, Kate Ma, Mikey Guidaben, Jess Lee, and Kaha Hwang. We will be partnering with Dr. Bob Shim, an internal medicine doctor and long-term medical missionary through the Evangelical Covenant Church and his organization Sustainable Development Research Foundation (SDRF) to provide medical care to the villagers of Nan, a rural area of northeast Thailand. By doing so, we hope to open the doors to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and offer both physical and spiritual healing to those people.
