"Odilia"

...an original one act play that examines the significance of life and death through the iconography of Dia De Los Muertos. Odilia is a young single mother who finds herself in extraordinary circumstances. She is thrust into the middle ground-- a place inhabited by the Esqueletos, a vibrant group of skeletons constructing an offrenda (an altar) for the new arrival. Through fractured memories and lamenting tales of their past lives the Esqueletos lead Odilia through the eerie space on a journey back home. The play was created by alumni of California State University, Fullerton.
