Maryland Hillel inspires and connects Jewish students at the University of Maryland. One of the largest Hillels in the country, our goal is to help the 6500 Jewish students at Maryland have positive Jewish experiences. Students create and define their own Jewish experience on campus through Jewish experiences, leadership and social justice. Maryland Hillel provides entry points at all levels of involvement—students can be linked in with the Jewish community, learn about and explore their Jewish identities, or lead and create experiences for others. Students continually move in and out of these entry points, creating a customized Jewish experience, resulting in a lifetime commitment to Jewish life.
