2012 Senior World Rowing Championships

Thank you for visiting the Lightweight Men's 8+ US Senior National Team page, and for supporting our fundraising effort for the 2012 World Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria!

The boat consists of athletes from a wide variety of backgrounds and age groups, from universities across the nation. The lineup includes coxswain Eric Rhiel, Ryan Fox, Phil Grisdela, Anders Corbett, Andrew Hashway, Nick Dawe, Martin Forde, Sean McKenna, and Will Robins.

For many of us in the boat, it is our first year on the US National Team, and we are excited for the opportunity to represent our country for the first time. The US National Team is composed of top athletes from across the country who represent the United States in international competition at the highest possible level for this boat class.

The costs associated with reaching this pinnacle of our sport is why we are reaching out to you today. The total expense of the regatta is extraordinary, as the cost can include hotel accommodations, food throughout the trip, coach+athlete travel overseas, equipment transportation, and race fees, just to name a few. It is only through generous support from friends, family, and individuals like you that help make this dream a reality. Thank you very much for helping to contribute the United States' Lightweight Men's 8+. Your generosity will help enormously as we train and aspire to take home the gold for the US for the first time in nearly four years.

Making a donation is easy and safe. Simply click "donate" on the green button to your right, and follow the necessary instructions. Be sure to bookmark this page and come back often to check on our progress! Thank you yet again for your continued support, and GO USA!!

For any donation of $100 or more before August 6th we will send an autographed photo of our crew as a special thanks.
