Martha's Girl Scout Page

I was a very shy child growing up - shy and awkward, bullied and alone. In Girl Scouts I found forever friends, learned skills that I still use today and found a place where my quirky personality was an asset. I learned to lead songs and games when at school I could barely be heard. My teacher sister says I was a "grey child", striving to be overlooked. Lucky for me, I was a green child, too! I want every girl on the planet to have the opportunity to find both safety and adventure in Girl Scouts.
