In April, I’m going to be running the 116th Boston Marathon to support the Newton Boys & Girls Club! I hope you can help me get there!

Hello Everyone!

Well, let me start off by saying thank you so much for even visiting this page and considering a donation. I am so thrilled, excited, & even a little nervous about the task I have taken on. After completing my first Half Marathon in January 2012, running the Boston Marathon & raising money for a great cause seemed to be the most logical next step that I was driven to take on. (Yes, I just used the word logical about running 26.2 miles)

For those of you that know me, you know running is something new for this girl. Although new, running has motivated and inspired me to push myself to accomplish things I never thought I could. The Newton Boys & Girls Club is dedicated to improving the lives of children. They are an amazing organization and I am honored to be a part it and contribute in this way.

Thank you so much for your support. Every gift counts! Thank you!

-Marissa

"There is something magical about running; after a certain distance, it transcends the body. Then a bit further, it transcends the mind. A bit further yet, and what you have before you, laid bare, is the soul."
