Marisa Sterling fundraising for FUND FOR EDUCATION ABROAD
Team FEA is running in the Cherry Blossom 10-mile run, raising money for FEA's study abroad scholarships! Help me reach my goal!
I'm running in the Cherry Blossom 10-mile run, one of biggest races in DC, to help support students who might not otherwise have the chance to study abroad. In 2007, I studied abroad in Alcalá de Henares, Spain in an intensive spanish language program. The experience was both challenging and exhilirating and I headed back to Colorado with a better understanding of not only the world, but myself as well. I strongly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to study abroad. Please help me raise money so well deserving students experience and learn from a different world culture.
Thank you!
National facts about study abroad:

•The majority of study abroad students study abroad for 8 weeks or less.
•Community college students make up less than 3% of the study abroad population
The Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to increasing both the number and diversity of students who study abroad.
