LAS VEGAS NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM
This private, non-profit institution dedicated to educating the children, adults and families of the community in the natural sciences.
Your financial support will help to educate the children of our community. More than 37,000 Clark County school children visit the Museum annually and are taken on a “learning safari” where they encounter animals from all over the world, the treasures of Egypt, prehistoric lands, African ecosystems, marine life, and Nevada’s wildlife. Approximately 20,000 of the children who visit each year are from at-risk schools and are admitted free of charge with the help of community support.
The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is the only museum in Southern Nevada with collections extensive enough to interpret wildlife and environments beyond the local region. By offering informational encounters unavailable elsewhere in the community, the Museum plays an important educational role for children and their families.
