Luke's Skywalkers

The Corpus Callosum is the band of nerves connecting the left and right hemisheres of the brain allowing the two sides to communicate. At the age of nine months, our son Luke was diagnossed with ACC (Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum). With no where to turn, Chad and I began looking to the internet for answers/information. We soon learned of the NODCC which is the only non-profit organization that supports families with ACC. A month after his diagnosis we attended our first conference in Tulsa, OK. We were able to learn so much about the disorder, particitate in research concerning the Corpus Callosum and most of all build relationships with other families affected by ACC. We have been involved with the organization ever since and Chad is currently serving as the President of the Board of Directors.

Luke is now nine years old and continues to amaze us every day. He puts a smile on every face that he encounters. Your support of the NODCC will help countless other families the same way it has helped us.
